Partner universities
The map below brings together, all over the world, the partner universities of the Excelia network: 233 academic partners in 57 countries. Filter it by programme or by language, and tick "double degree" to keep only the universities that offer an international double degree.
The network of Excelia Business School's partner universities
The map above brings together the universities and schools with which the Excelia network has signed a cooperation agreement, in every corner of the world: in total, 233 academic partners in 57 countries, most of which are themselves accredited. This density of partnerships changes the game for an Excelia Business School student, since it opens up a genuine choice of destination rather than a single option imposed by the course.
An agreement of this kind allows you to study a semester or a year at a foreign institution, while keeping the credits that count towards your degree: you therefore do not lose time on your course, you continue it elsewhere. Excelia Business School, for its part, holds the quadruple accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, EFMD Master): this distinction, reserved for fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide, attests to the quality of its programmes and facilitates the international mobility of its students and graduates. This openness runs through the whole of Excelia Business School''s international dimension, well beyond the single map you are looking at here.
Exchange or international double degree: what is the difference?
An international double degree differs from a standard exchange in what it delivers at the end. In an exchange, you study with a partner for a few months or a year, then you return with your Excelia Business School degree, enriched by this experience abroad. A double degree rests on a more formalised agreement between the two institutions, built to deliver two distinct qualifications at the end of the same programme: that of Excelia Business School and that of the partner university.
In brief
This possibility does not exist with all partners: it depends on the agreements specific to each programme, and it is your programme's page that specifies which ones. It already concerns 1,500 students in the Excelia network.
Neither of the two formulas is better than the other: each meets a different plan. Our page devoted to the double degree describes this mechanism step by step, and academic expatriation covers this option within the mobility scheme, including the length of stay and credits earned.
Choosing your destination according to your programme and your languages
The destinations actually available first depend on your programme at Excelia Business School, since the opportunities and mobility conditions vary from one course to another. Filter the map by programme or by language to keep only the destinations that concern you, and tick "double degree" if that is what you are aiming for. Within this scope, several criteria guide the choice of a destination:
- the languages you already speak, or want to work on
- your professional and personal plans
- the culture of the host country
- the prospect, or not, of a double degree
Depending on the university chosen, classes are taught in English or in the language of the host country, which is worth checking before applying if your level of English still worries you. Your programme''s international coordinators support you in this choice and recommend destinations suited to your profile.
Preparing your departure
Once the destination is settled, Excelia Business School's international relations department supports you through the administrative steps that precede departure: visa, insurance, grants and accommodation, all steps to anticipate before finalising your application.
For a destination within Europe, the European Union's Erasmus+ grant contributes to travel and stay costs, and it can be combined with a means-tested grant as well as a regional grant, which reduces the budget for your stay accordingly. Depending on the programme and the host university, additional costs remain possible nonetheless: your programme''s page specifies them. All the following steps are detailed on our page devoted to the steps for studying abroad, from putting together your application through to your return.
