Digital Accessibility
Excelia Business School is committed to digital accessibility!
Excelia Business School is committed to progressively improving the accessibility of its websites and digital services, so that as many people as possible can access its content and features.
Compliance status
Accessibility: non-compliant
Current status: accessibility audit pending
Excelia Business School plans to carry out an accessibility audit of its websites to assess their level of compliance with the French General Accessibility Improvement Framework (Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité – RGAA).
This audit will identify any areas of non-compliance and define the improvements that need to be implemented.
The audit results and the associated compliance rate will be published once the assessment has been completed.
What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web. More specifically, it means that they can perceive, understand, navigate, interact with and contribute to the Web.
Digital accessibility also benefits other users, including older people whose abilities may change with age. Web accessibility encompasses all disabilities that may affect access, including visual, cognitive and motor impairments.
An accessible website makes it possible, for example, to:
- navigate using a screen reader and/or a refreshable braille display (particularly used by people who are blind or visually impaired)
- customise the website display according to individual needs (increasing text size, changing colours, etc.)
- navigate without using a mouse (using a keyboard only, a touchscreen, voice commands or any other adapted device)
To achieve this, the website must comply with the applicable accessibility standards when it is developed and updated.
Non-accessible content
An accessibility audit will be carried out to identify precisely which content and features do not meet the RGAA criteria.
A detailed list of non-accessible content will be published and this section will be updated once the audit has been completed.
