Bachelors
A Bachelor at Excelia Business School, yes, but which one? This page helps you choose between the Bachelor in Business, over three years, and the BBA International, over four years.
What is a Bachelor in a business school?
A bachelor in a business school is a Bac+3-level qualification, awarded after three years of study devoted to the fundamentals of management. The Bachelor in Business, at Excelia Business School, is State-accredited and leads to a Grade de Licence: an official recognition that guarantees the content and level of your programme meet the standards set by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, on a par with a university Licence, whichever path you choose afterwards between the Bachelor in Business and the BBA International.
Excelia Business School is also a private higher education institution of general interest (EESPIG), a not-for-profit status under agreement with the State. The school also holds a quadruple accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, EFMD Master), a label that fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide can claim. For a journey that is only just beginning, these are two concrete guarantees rather than a promise: a qualification validated by the State, and a school whose academic quality can be verified beyond its own claims, including when you compare this Bachelor with other post-baccalaureate programmes.
Bachelor in Business or BBA International: how to choose
Two paths are open to you after the baccalaureate to prepare your Bachelor at Excelia Business School: the Bachelor in Business, completed over three years, and the BBA International, which spans four years. The whole difference lies in this fourth year, entirely focused on the international dimension, which changes not only the length of the programme but its orientation.
The Bachelor in Business trains operational profiles in sales, administration and management, with strong professionalisation and hands-on experience from the very first years. It suits a project that takes shape gradually, when you have not yet settled on a specific sector or role: to find out more, discover the Bachelor in Business over three years.
The BBA International is designed for those who want to give their studies a strongly international dimension from the outset, with teaching in French and/or English and an opening onto multicultural environments. This extra year is designed for a project that is already focused on the international dimension: to find out more, discover the BBA International over four years.

What you experience during the programme
The programme includes 24 months of professional experience, split between internships and assignments in companies whatever programme you choose, which progressively builds your career plan over the three or four years of study.
This immersion continues on a work-study basis, an option available on the Bachelor in Business, which lets you combine classes at school with paid work experience in a company; arrangements vary depending on the programme and year, and you will find the details on our page devoted to work-study at Excelia Business School.
Added to this is an international dimension, with the possibility of considering a double degree or a stay at a partner university abroad, an option that extends the one already present in the BBA International and whose available formats you will discover on the international dimension of our programmes.
Your student life does not stop at internships and study trips abroad: to give meaning to your journey, also explore student engagement at Excelia Business School.
Throughout the programme, finally, classes are taught by lecturer-researchers as well as entrepreneurs, to combine academic rigour with hands-on, real-world experience.

After the Bachelor: employment or further study

Taking up a position after the Bachelor is a choice fully embraced by the programme, whose strong professionalisation prepares you to take on operational roles as soon as you graduate. Continuing your studies is just as possible: the Bachelor lets you join our Master of Science (MSc) programmes in M1 or M2 to specialise in a specific career, in finance, marketing, management or other areas of business.
Whatever your choice, you join a network that goes beyond the school itself: the Excelia network has 53,000 graduates, a wealth of contacts that supports you well beyond graduation.
