La Rochelle Campus

Studying at a business school in La Rochelle means combining the Vieux-Port, the ocean and a human-scale city where it is easy to find your bearings. Excelia Business School has trained its students there since 1988.

It was in La Rochelle that Excelia was founded in 1988, under the name Sup de Co La Rochelle. Its management school, Excelia Business School, now trains students there in the Minimes district, a stone's throw from the ocean, in this human-scale coastal city. You can study the Bachelor in Business, the BBA International, the Master in Management (Programme Grande École) and several Master of Science (MSc) programmes, within a school that boasts a quadruple international accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, EFMD Master).

An immersive pedagogy on the La Rochelle campus

In the heart of the La Rochelle campus, Excelia Business School devotes 110 m² to pedagogical innovation: the XL Factory, inaugurated in 2022, is where educational metaverses take shape every day. It brings together four complementary spaces:

  • Think: a space for collective creativity, with a digital board and an interactive projector
  • Explore: immersive learning experiences in virtual reality
  • Create: a mini video studio equipped with a teleprompter and a green screen
  • Lab: a pedagogical prototyping space, with video editing and a 2-metre interactive screen

For example, a public-speaking metaverse, assisted by artificial intelligence, gives students feedback on their speech and body language; a crisis-management exercise in virtual reality puts them face to face with decisions to be made on the spot. This immersive pedagogy is part of our pedagogical development.
