Our campuses
Excelia Business School welcomes you on four campuses in France: La Rochelle, Tours, Orléans and Paris-Cachan. Here is what you need to choose the city where you will live your years of study, a choice that matters as much as your choice of school.
Four campuses, four cities to live in
Excelia Business School offers you four locations in France, each with its own living environment, transport and student accommodation. Choosing your school is therefore also about choosing the city where you will live for three to five years, a question that deserves to be asked in its own right, separately from the programme you are aiming for.
The four campuses share the same foundation, whatever the city: each one offers student accommodation solutions, student societies and identical access to the school's services. What changes from one campus to another is therefore not the quality of support, but the urban experience you choose to live alongside your studies.
Having four locations does not fragment the school: each campus carries its own programmes and student life. This is what allows our school and its student life to offer a different experience in each city, while remaining one and the same school.
What sets each city apart
On Excelia Business School's campuses, each city has its own character, and it is often this detail that tips the decision between two otherwise comparable schools. In La Rochelle, the campus benefits from its proximity to the ocean, and most everyday journeys are made by bike. Tours welcomes you as a city of art and history, where the tram and bus easily serve the campus and its city centre.
Orléans, for its part, is built around the Loire, with two tram lines linking the campus to a city centre where student life finds its place. The Paris-Cachan campus, meanwhile, benefits from a calm setting, while keeping Paris within easy reach thanks to direct access via the RER B.
It is sometimes assumed that a city smaller than a major metropolis offers less student life: this is not what everyday life on our campuses shows, where each of these four cities builds its own student life, at its own scale and in its own way. None of these four cities is therefore a default choice: each responds to a different way of living your years of study. Student societies exist on each of these campuses, but they take a form specific to each site: discover student societies on our campuses.
How to choose your campus
In brief
Choosing an Excelia Business School campus comes down to two criteria, in this order: the programme you are aiming for, which is not taught on every campus, then the living environment you picture yourself in. It is therefore best to start from your programme project before choosing a city, since this is what really defines your options; you can then decide based on the kind of student life you want.
If this thinking is done as a family, it is best to come to the discussion already knowing the real range of campuses concerned by your project, before comparing the cities with one another.
In practice, the method consists in first checking, among our programmes, where the programme that interests you is delivered, before picturing yourself in one city or another. Once this step is complete, practical questions deserve to be anticipated early: accommodation, mobility, budget. Student accommodation searches should be prepared in advance, whatever city you choose, to keep as many options as possible open by the start of the academic year.
Wondering exactly which campus offers the programme you are aiming for? Our detailed brochure of our programmes, sent on request, specifies for each pathway the campuses where it is offered.
Frequently asked questions about our campuses
- Where are Excelia Business School's campuses located?
Excelia Business School is present in four cities in France: La Rochelle, Tours, Orléans and Paris-Cachan. Each campus has its own student life and, in some cases, its own specific programmes.
- Can you study any programme on any campus?
No: each Excelia Business School programme is not necessarily taught on all four campuses. The choice of campus therefore depends first on the programme you are aiming for. Our programmes specify where each one is delivered.
- How do you choose between the four campuses?
The choice is made in two steps: first identify where the programme you are aiming for is delivered, then compare the living environment of the cities concerned: the ocean in La Rochelle, the heritage in Tours, the Loire in Orléans or the proximity of Paris in Paris-Cachan.
- Is there student accommodation on every campus?
Yes: every Excelia Business School campus offers student accommodation solutions, from studio flats to house-shares and halls of residence, depending on local availability.
- When should you start looking for accommodation?
As early as possible: student accommodation searches should be prepared ahead of the start of the academic year, whatever city you choose, to keep as many options as possible when it is time to move in.
- Is student life the same on all four campuses?
Student societies, clubs and student projects exist on all four Excelia Business School campuses, but their form varies from one site to another. Discover student societies on our campuses to find out more.
