Research Lab - CERIIM
Presentation and Organisation
CERIIM (International Research Centre for Impact in Management) is the research centre of Excelia Business School. It brings together faculty researchers working across key areas of management, including strategy, finance, marketing, human resources and supply chain management. These areas reflect the School’s expertise, the Group’s positioning and its mission.
Research with a focus on impact
CERIIM aims to develop international, impact-oriented research by fostering the production of scientific knowledge and its dissemination to businesses, organisations and society.
Research activities are organised around three Knowledge Centres, which provide a framework for the work of faculty researchers: Sustainability and Business for Society (S-B4S), Organisational Dynamics and Resilience (ODR) and Disruption, Greening, Innovation & Technological Transformation (DIGIT).
This structure is complemented by Advanced Expertise areas, which bring together and coordinate research activities around three areas of expertise: Tourism, Water and Sustainable Finance.
Research conducted within CERIIM encompasses academic research, applied research and pedagogical research. It therefore aims to produce a wide range of intellectual contributions while strengthening the academic profile and influence of Excelia Business School.
An internationally oriented research community
CERIIM brings together faculty researchers from Excelia Business School, as well as researchers and faculty members from partner universities, visiting researchers, professionals and doctoral students.
This diversity of profiles fosters dialogue between academia and the professional world and supports the development of research collaborations in France and internationally.
A forum for scientific exchange and collaboration
CERIIM holds regular meetings where researchers can present their work, projects and research methodologies. The research centre meets in plenary session twice a year. These meetings provide an opportunity to share an overview of research activities and their impact within the School, discuss cross-disciplinary projects and exchange views on key research issues.
Research policy is developed in close collaboration with Excelia’s scientific bodies and with leading figures from the national and international academic community.
The activities and projects developed within CERIIM help bring academic research closer to businesses and organisations, creating added value for them and, where appropriate, providing researchers with new areas for experimentation.
Scientific Committee
Research policy is developed in close consultation with the members of the Scientific Committee, which brings together leading figures from the national and international academic community.
The Scientific Committee reviews and evaluates the research strategy and the organisation established to implement it. It provides advice on the future development of research activities, the establishment of international cooperation and the strengthening of links with businesses.
It also ensures the coherence of the School’s research policy and, in this capacity, provides its views on major strategic directions and on the principles used to assess the quality of research and researchers.
The Scientific Committee meets twice a year.
