Biographie

K. Grande holds a PhD in Tourism Management from the University of Girona – Faculty of Tourism (Spain). His doctoral thesis focuses on measuring competitiveness and performance in the outdoor hospitality sector. He is leading a research project bringing together 70 tourism SMEs to create a multi-criteria decision-making tool, performance indicators, and dashboards.

Alongside his PhD, he managed several establishments for a large outdoor hospitality group. These facilities ranged from 250 to 450 pitches. Finally, he launched Benchranking.com, a consulting firm specializing in competitiveness and performance for tourism companies.

Between 2019 and 2025, Kevin Grande serve as Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE) in Perpignan. He joined the Excelia group in 2022 as Assistant Professor, then Associate Professor.

He is a member of the Tourism Management Research Group (CRESEM-UPVD) in Perpignan (France), member of the French Association of Tourism Management (AFMAT), and is associated with the editorial board of the Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism.
