Biographie

A native of Madagascar, Dimbi Ramonjy arrived in France in 1998 to begin his graduate studies, which culminated in a Doctorate in Management Science obtained in 2012 at the University of Paris Dauphine.

An expert in Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Fair Trade, for several years he worked in Universities and Business Schools before joining Excelia Business School in 2008 as Assistant Professor.  In 2012, he worked in the Strategy Department, initially as Assistant Head, then from 2014 to 2019 as Head. Today, as Associate Professor, he continues to teach his three specialist areas, is a member of the Institute for Sustainability through Innovation (IRSI) and supports organisations that are committed to these initiatives, both in France and internationally (particularly in Madagascar and Cameroon).

Strongly committed to his specialist teaching areas, he makes it a point of honour to carry out responsible and civic-minded actions in both his professional and personal life in order to ‘live’ the new models he imparts to his students. In addition, for a long time he has been involved in associations for young people, teaching them how to get involved and act responsibly in society.

Dimbi Ramonjy is a member of various academic networks specialising in Sustainable Development such as RIODD (former member of the Board of Directors), Fair Trade and Alternative Trade (FairNESS).

In Madagascar, he sits on the International Advisory Board of the Higher Institute of Communication, Business and Management (ISCAM Group) and on the ad hoc consultation committee on the national CSR strategy.
