Biographie
Surajit Bag is a Full Professor of Supply Chain Management at Excelia Business School. He has taught in France, United Kingdom, Morocco, India, and South Africa, bringing an international perspective to his scholarship and pedagogy. Prof. Bag earned his PhD in Engineering Management from the Postgraduate School of Engineering Management at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa.
His research is published in high-impact journals, with a primary focus on digital and circular supply chains. His work has received more than 16,000 citations on Google Scholar, reflecting its scholarly influence and practical relevance. His scholarly contributions have received significant international recognition through multiple prestigious awards and global research rankings. His research on Industry 4.0 adoption and sustainable manufacturing has been cited in a European Parliament STOA study informing policy discussions on Europe’s technological sovereignty.
He serves as an Associate Editor for several leading academic journals and has guest-edited special issues for international publications. Dr. Bag co-supervises PhD candidates in India, South Africa, and New Zealand, and has examined seventeen PhD and DBA theses across institutions in India, South Africa, and France.
